Itinerary:

  • 1.Discover Pyrgos Kallistis Medieval Village

Pyrgos is a truly magical traditional village.

Houses with Traditional architecture, small Santorinian white houses, medieval architecture with narrow, labyrinthine streets, fortified walls, and hidden passages, narrow winding paths leading up the hillside, churches, breathtaking sunsets....all these…. can be found at Pyrgos Kallistis.

Pyrgos is a hidden gem in Santorini that is not only the former capital but also one of the best-preserved medieval settlements on the island. Let/s discover it.

2.Have a 360 panoramic Photoshoot at the Mountain of Prophet Elias

Enjoy the panoramic view of Santorini from the highest point of the island. The Mountain of Prophet Elias is 567 meters (1860 ft) tall and is the perfect place to see from a birds-eye perspective all the towns of Santorini ranging from Akrotiri, Perissa, Perivolos up to Pyrgos, Firostefani or Oia.

From that point, you can admire the whole island. From plain fields on one side, to the famous Oia with the white houses on the other side.

3.Enjoy the astonishing view of the famous Red Beach

The famous Red Beach is a must attraction to see at Santorini. The red beach is arguably the most famous and beautiful in Santorini. It is also considered one of the most spectacular beaches in Greece.

The name is taken from the unique color of the surrounding rocks and cliffs, as well as the stunning black and red shingle.

The contrast between the red and black of the beach with the bright blue of the sea creates a magical setting worth seeing at least once in your lifetime.

4.Swim and Have Lunch at Perissa-Perivolos Beach

Time for lunch by the sea and free time at the black beach of Perissa and Perivolos.

This beach is the most popular on Santorini featuring unique characteristics like the black sand, the crystalline waters, and various beach facilities.

When people talk about Santorini’s “Black Beach”, this place on the southeast coast of the island is usually what they mean, even though most of the island’s beaches are also black.

5.Enjoy the astounding view from Imerovigli Village

The village of Imerovigli, also known as “The balcony to the Aegean”, is built on the highest point of the caldera cliffs of Santorini.

Its position provides a magnificent view of the famous volcano, the sparkling Aegean Sea, and the sunset that is out of this world.

The notable attraction of the village is the famous, immense rock called Skaros that lies on the seaward side. It is of paramount importance since it was one of the five fortresses of Santorini and the most significant one. It was once an observation post providing security from pirates.

6.Print in your memory the famous Blue Dome of Firostefani

Firastephani sits atop some of the most breathtakingly steep cliffs on the caldera.

There are very few dwellings and hotels set on these cliffs. From Firostefani which means “The Crown of Fira” the view is quite magnificent, giving visitors a different perspective of the volcano.

The wild beauty of the caldera itself along with the volcano view composes thrilling scenery. Don’t miss to make various photos of the most famous church of Santorini which has been seen at all the official communications of the ministry of tourism of Greece for the last 30 years.

7.Enjoy the most beautiful Sunset at Oia Village

Who would not like to visit the most famous and instagrammable village of Santorini?

Oia is the perfect place for enjoying the most beautiful sunset of Greece and one of the most beautiful ones all over the earth where all visitors and locals gather in streets, stairs, and rooftops to watch it.

Not to mention the famous churches with their blue domes hanging literally at the cliffs of Oia village.

You will be walking at the picturesque streets of Oia while getting lost at the alleys of it.

Our tour will end after we will have watched the sunset.

The tour ends at the village of Oia for a memorable sunset experience.
